<br />RESCHEDULE FINANCE MEETING <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINISTRA- <br />TOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />COUNCIL COM}ffiNTS - Domenico <br /> <br />Councilman Meier <br /> <br />Weeds at Lincoln and Lafayette <br /> <br />Councilman Cummings <br />Tree at Lincoln & Short <br /> <br />CEMETERY <br /> <br />6/2/81 <br /> <br />Page - 5 - <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico stated that the Finance <br />meeting would be on Monday, June 15, 1981 <br />at 6:30 P.M. because of the LDC dinner at <br />6:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the City Ad- <br />ministrator's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Expressed the sincere thanks for the Louis- <br />ville Arts and Crafts Association for allow- <br />ing them to use the council chambers and <br />upper lobby for the arts show on May 30th <br />and 31, 1981. He also thanked the janitors <br />for the fine cooperation. Expressed his <br />appreciation to Director Hioco for getting <br />the show organized - and the group are <br />looking forward to having another showing <br />next year.. <br /> <br />Asked if the property owner had been contacted. <br />Director Hioco advised that Bill Hart, whom <br />cuts the vveeds had been in the hospital and <br />would cut them within the next 2 weeks. <br /> <br />Inquired of Director Hioco if the city crew <br />cut this tree down. <br />Director Hioco advised they did not as we <br />do not have the equipment. <br />Councilman Cunrrnings suggested that the City <br />plan to buy this type of equipment, and <br />perhaps reduce the cost. <br />Director Hioco advised the bill was $100, <br />and the tree fell down. <br />Councilman Cummings asked if the City would <br />replace the tree. Hioco advised negative. <br />Cummings then inquired if the tree certifi- <br />cates were only for the new homes being built. <br />Director Hioco advised this cost of the trees <br />was added to the cost of the home - $25.00 <br />per tree. <br /> <br />Mayor Caranci complimented those responsible <br />for a job well done at the Cemetery for Mem- <br />orial Day. <br />
