RESCHEDULE FINANCE MEETING ACCEPTANCE OF CITY ADMINISTRA- TOR'S REPORT COUNCIL COM}ffiNTS - Domenico Councilman Meier Weeds at Lincoln and Lafayette Councilman Cummings Tree at Lincoln & Short CEMETERY 6/2/81 Page - 5 - Councilman Domenico stated that the Finance meeting would be on Monday, June 15, 1981 at 6:30 P.M. because of the LDC dinner at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening. Councilman Fauson moved that the City Ad- ministrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. All in favor. Motion carried. None Expressed the sincere thanks for the Louis- ville Arts and Crafts Association for allow- ing them to use the council chambers and upper lobby for the arts show on May 30th and 31, 1981. He also thanked the janitors for the fine cooperation. Expressed his appreciation to Director Hioco for getting the show organized - and the group are looking forward to having another showing next year.. Asked if the property owner had been contacted. Director Hioco advised that Bill Hart, whom cuts the vveeds had been in the hospital and would cut them within the next 2 weeks. Inquired of Director Hioco if the city crew cut this tree down. Director Hioco advised they did not as we do not have the equipment. Councilman Cunrrnings suggested that the City plan to buy this type of equipment, and perhaps reduce the cost. Director Hioco advised the bill was $100, and the tree fell down. Councilman Cummings asked if the City would replace the tree. Hioco advised negative. Cummings then inquired if the tree certifi- cates were only for the new homes being built. Director Hioco advised this cost of the trees was added to the cost of the home - $25.00 per tree. Mayor Caranci complimented those responsible for a job well done at the Cemetery for Mem- orial Day.
