Subdivision. <br />Administrator Wurl advised it was staff's <br />recommendation that the matter be referred <br />to the Planning Commission for further re- <br />view and recommendation. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the Frank <br />Hocheder annexation and zoning request <br />be referred to the Planning Commission <br />for review and recommendation. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the Council <br />itemsbe accepted and placed on file. Seconded <br />by Councilman Meier. Question called for. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Peter Gauss, 1125 Main St. stated he would <br />like to speak about Ordinance :/1717 which <br />was up for second reading this evening. <br />He also advised Council that the staggered <br />terms for Council members was brought <br />up 2 years ago and at that time and again <br />this evening was requesting that it <br />be put on the November ballot for a vote <br />of the people. He was aware that Council <br />had the right to vote on the ordinance <br />and pass it, but it was his opinion <br />the residents should have the opportunity <br />to vote on the issue. <br /> <br />Announced that as of this date the <br />Executive Director had been selected to <br />head the downtown revitalization project <br />and introduced Mr. James Keller II. <br />Mr. Keller stated he looked forward to <br />working with Council and the people in the <br />business community to upgrade their properties, <br />by aiding with the designing and planning <br />of activities and events that will hopefully <br />bring more shoppers and business into the <br />downtmvn community. He further advised that <br />weekly meetings will be held with the Board <br />of Directors and copies of the minutes would <br />be given council members. <br /> <br />Wished to register a complaint against Mike <br />Jenkins of 701 Grant Ave. her neighbor to <br />the south with water drainage problem, and <br />semi-annual loud, obnoxious parties consist- <br />ing of 350+ people. <br />
