All in favor. Motion
carried.

Nrs. Richard Head, 749 Grant Ave.
reported that all the neighbors consider
the parties a nuisance and a lot of the
older residents are intimidated and fear
speaking against him for fear of retali-
ation. This has been going on for 5 years.
l.'lost of the children are forbidden to go
near his property at the end of the block.
The party that took place two weeks ago
left the entire neighborhood looking like
a war zone. Bottles were broken over cars,
people at the party would urinate and defe-
cate on the lawns. She went on to say this
was a regular occurrence. The neighborhood
is zoned low-residential, they would like
to see it kept that way - something must be
done.
Stated that Mrs. Norman Laurence of 705
Grant Ave. had contacted him Sunday morn-
ing following the party, and there were
approximately 300-400 people who attended.
He and Administrator Wurl went to view the
scene and it did look like a war zone.
There were beer bottles, broken beer bottles,
cans, paper cups and the smell of urine
throughout the neighborhood was prevelent,
verifying the number of people in attendance.
It was his suggestion that council find a
solution to this recurring problem.
