Lc�tyoJ <br />Louisville <br />COLORADO -SINCE 1878 <br />Economic Vitality Committee <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Friday, August 19, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting <br />Call to Order: Chair Dickinson called the hybrid meeting to order at 1:34 PM for <br />in -person attendees, as well as those participating virtually. <br />II. Roll Call: The following members of the City Council were present: <br />Councilmember Dickinson, Councilmember Fahey, and Councilmember Most. <br />Also present were Economic Vitality Specialist Austin Brown, Planning and <br />Building Safety Director Rob Zuccaro, and Acting City Manager Megan Davis. <br />Six members of the public were present. <br />III. Approval of Agenda: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to approve the <br />agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Most. <br />Motion passed. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes: Councilmember Fahey made a motion to <br />approve the meeting minutes of June 17, 2022. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilmember Most. Motion passed. <br />V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: Mark Oberholzer, vice <br />president of the Downtown Business Association (DBA) asked if the EVC had a <br />role in the Commercial Energy Code Update. Chair Dickinson responded that <br />the EVC has not been tasked with engaging with businesses around this topic. <br />VI. Discussion/Direction- Strategic Plan Action #2-6: 2022 Business Forum: <br />Specialist Brown gave an overview of what a second Business Forum in <br />October 2022 could look like and asked for feedback from the EVC. <br />Councilmember Dickinson asked whether there was a specific date identified <br />for the EVC. Specialist Brown responded that there was no specific date set yet <br />but that a Wednesday or Thursday in mid to late -October may make sense. <br />Councilmember Fahey asked for clarification on when the Energy Code Update <br />would be going to City Council.
