Cityo <br />f <br />'6Louisville <br />COLORADO • SINCE 1878 <br />Open Space Advisory Board Meeting Minutes <br />Wednesday August 10, 2022, 7:00pm <br />Louisville Public Library <br />Call to Order <br />David called the meeting to order at 7:06 pm. <br />2. Roll Call <br />Board Members Present: David Blankinship, Laura Scott Denton, Charles Danforth, <br />Jessamine Fitzpatrick, Thomas Neville (remote via Zoom), Susan McEachern <br />Board Members Absent: Peter Gowen, Helen Moshak <br />Staff Members Present: Catherine Jepson, Brendan Close (new Senior Naturalist) <br />3. Approval of Agenda <br />Laura moved to approve the agenda as written. Susan seconded the motion. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />4. Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes <br />Jessamine moved to approve the July 2022, OSAB meeting minutes without edits. <br />Charles seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />5. Staff Updates <br />See updates on page 10-12 of the August 2022, OSAB Meeting packet. Further <br />updates and explanations were done in the meeting by Catherine. <br />Catherine said the city had made an offer to a candidate for the Parks Superintendent <br />position. Pending the candidate's background check, the job should start on September <br />12th <br />Open Space staff has submitted a punch list of requests for Public Works for the pipeline <br />project and that work is in progress. <br />Blue-green algae has been found at Warembourg Fishing Pond, so Open Space Staff <br />has put up warning signs. <br />Open Space staff is looking for adult volunteers for a dark skies monitoring project with <br />Ranger Benjamin White-Patarino.
