cityOf LOUISVILLE REVITALIZATION
Louisville COMMISSION
COLORADO • SINCE 1878
SUBJECT: FACADE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM OUTREACH UPDATE
DATE: SEPTEMBER 14, 2022
PRESENTED BY: AUSTIN BROWN, ECONOMIC VITALITY SPECIALIST
SUMMARY:
To further the engagement and outreach around the Fagade Improvement Program,
Commissioners are making property owner and business contacts. A map of the
designated areas is included as Attachment #1.
Commissioners can provide updates at the September 14 meeting on recent
engagement or any questions that need addressed. Although there is not a specific
timeline for conducting outreach, if all outreach is performed by the end of summer, it
will help inform requests for the remainder of 2022 and the amount of program budget
to allocate for 2023.
As of September 2, and including the two applications approved by the Louisville
Revitalization Commission (LRC) during its July 13 meeting, a total of $137,439.67 in
funding has been authorized. At this time, no funds have been disbursed. Although staff
has begun the rebate process with several applicants who have completed their
proposed improvements.
At the request of Commissioners, a Spanish -language translation of the recently
created Fagade Improvement Program one -pager was created. This document is now
available on the website, and staff can provide Commissioners copies as well for visits.
A copy of the one -pager is included as Attachment #2. Both versions of this piece were
also updated to include the final Commission logo.
ATTACHMENTS:
• Attachment #1: Fagade Improvement Program Outreach Map
• Attachment #2: Fagade Improvement Program One -Pager (Spanish translation)
Agena Packet P. 8
