<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />AUGUST 19, 1980 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the fol- <br />lowing Council members present: Fauson, Caranci, Carnival, and <br />Domenico. Excused absence: Councilmen Meier and DelPizzo. Others <br />present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer <br />Hesson, Dir. Comm. Dev. Rupp, Dir. Parks o~ Rec. Hioco, Police Chief <br />Leesman and City Clerk Stahl. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />KNIGHTS OF PYTHIAS <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION SPECIAL <br />EVENTS LIQUOR APP. <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the August 5, 1980 Council <br />meeting as presented. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson moved that the enclo- <br />sures be accE!pted and brought up under <br />the proper head of business. Seconded <br />by Councilman Carnival. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he would like <br />to thank George Ellis, Rico Zarini and <br />Ed Smith for their hard work and dedicated <br />service to keep the Cemetery going in <br />the past. He also thanked the KP for a <br />check for $7,000 for the perpetual care <br />fund. <br />Due to illness they were not present to <br />receive their plaques and will be pre- <br />sented them at a later date. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Attorney Joss reported that the applica- <br />tion was in order and was for Aug. 30, <br />6 P.M. until Aug. 31, 2 A.M. and Sept. <br />1, noon until midnight at the Legion <br />Hall. <br />There were no audience comments. <br />Councilman Fauson stated that he would <br />approve this application, but asked that <br />next year it not go so late on Labor Day. <br />With no other comments, the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that the American <br />Legion special events liquor license be <br />approved. SE~conded by Councilman Carnival. <br />Motion carriE~d 4-0. <br />
