ORDINANCE NO. 692 CONTINUED RESOLUTION NO. 13 DEFERRED COMPENSATION RESOLUTION NO. 14 ICMA DEFERRED COMPENSATION ETHICS ORD. STUDY SESSION RESOLUTION NO. 25 LOW RENT HOUSING PRE- LIMINARY LOW APPROVAL APPROVAL CITY ATTORNEY REPORT APPROVAL CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS SIREN Minutes - page 5 July 15, 1980 After comments Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. 692 be published and a pub- lic hearing set for August 19, 1980. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried 5-0. Discussion was held on deferred compensa- tion and it was then requested by Council that a study session be held before action is taken on the resolutions. Study session was scheduled for July 24, at 7:00 P.M. This resolution was tabled until after the study session. Council stated that they would like to have a work session on July 24, on the ethics ordinance. Resolution No. 25 allowing LURHA to apply for a preliminary loan for surveys and planning for low-rent housing projects, was read by Chairman Robert Hinsberger. Councilman Fauson moved that Resolution No. 25, Series 1980 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Carnival. Motion carried 4~1. Councilman Domenico voting no. Councilman Carnival moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried 5~0. Councilman Meier moved that the City Administrator's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Motion carried 5-0. Councilman Domenico felt that the Code Enforcement Officer was not issuing summons for weed problems. Chief Leesman stated that there have been many areas cut and the man who does it is back logged and gets to them when he can. Councilman Domenico stated that he was asked about the siren. Attorney Joss reported that the Fire Dist. is looking for a place to install it.
