REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL JUNE 17, 1980 Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- ing Council members present: Fauson, Caranci, DelPizzo, Carnival, Meier, and Domenico. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hesson, Dir. Parks & Rec. Hioco, Planner M. Randall and City Clerk Stahl. Absent: Dir. Comm. Dev. Rupp. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor and Council accepted the minutes of the June 3, 1980 meeting as presented. ENCLOSURERS Councilman Carnival moved that enclosurers be accepted and brought up under the pro- per head of business. Seconded by Coun- cilman Domenico. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS A & B LIQ. LIC RENEWAL Councilman Caranci moved that A & B Liq. License renewal be approved. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Motion carried 6-0. RESOLUTION NO. 23 DAVID C. STAHL Mr. Wurl read the resolution commending David Stahl for his work as Dir. Parks & Recreation. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution No. 23, Series 1980 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Motion carried 6-0. ACCEPTANCE CARNIVAL APPLICATION Councilman Meier moved that Council accept Randy Carnival's application for the position of Parks & Rec. Dir. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Mr. Wurl noted that applications will be accepted until July 15, 1980. Motion carried 6-0. AMERICAN LEGION SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR SPECIAL EVENTS LIQ. LIC. Attorney Joss noted that the application was in order. Councilman Carnival moved that a public hearing be set for July 1, 1980, for the American Legion special events liquor license request. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried 6-0 AUDIENCE COMMENTS JOE FRENCH/ JACOBS- KAHAN LETTER Mr. Joe French, representing Jacobs/Kahan read a letter to Mr. Jack Kintslinger of the State Highway Department, stating that they can not continue to keep their offer open much longer for payment of the inter- change reconstruct::i.cp, but the mall would still be built.
