ORDINANCE NO. 683 JOSLIN ZONING SECOND READING PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 684 BEITELSHEES ANNEXATION SECOND READING PUBLIC READING Minutes - page 3 June 17, 1980 Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 683 on second reading by title only. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance was published in full on May 21, notice of public hearing was published on May 28, and June 4. Planner Randall reported that Planning Commission recommended the requested zoning. With no other comments the public hearing was closed. Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance No. 683 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Roll call vote. Carnival yes, Fauson yes, Domenico yes, DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, Meier yes. Motion carried. Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 684 on second reading by title only. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance was published in full on May 21, notice of public hearing was published on May 28 and June 4. Planner Randall stated that Planning Commision recommended annexation with C-C zoning. There were no audience comments. Public hearing was closed. Councilman Meier suggested that action on the zoning ordinance be tabled until the zoning study and summary map is complete or the property be zoned agriculture until the study is complete and reviewed. Mr. Wurl noted that the property is sur- rounded on 3 sides with commercial zoning. Councilman DelPizzo stated that the comp plans show that location as commercial and he felt it should be zoned that way. Councilman Fauson fel t that the ordinance should be tabled until the zoning map re- view is completed. Mr. Beitelshees stated that he is surrounded on three sides and felt that if he can not get the C-C zoning, he would prefer not to annex at this time.
