Mayor Waschak <br />opened the public hearing. <br />Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance <br />was published in full on May 21, notice <br />of public hearing was published on May <br />28, and June 4. <br />Planner Randall reported that Planning <br />Commission recommended the requested <br />zoning. <br />With no other comments the public hearing <br />was closed. <br />Councilman Domenico moved that Ordinance <br />No. 683 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Roll call vote. Carnival yes, <br />Fauson yes, Domenico yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />Caranci yes, Meier yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 684 on <br />second reading by title only. Mayor <br />Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance <br />was published in full on May 21, notice <br />of public hearing was published on May <br />28 and June 4. <br />Planner Randall stated that Planning <br />Commision recommended annexation with <br />C-C zoning. <br />There were no audience comments. Public <br />hearing was closed. <br />Councilman Meier suggested that action on <br />the zoning ordinance be tabled until the <br />zoning study and summary map is complete <br />or the property be zoned agriculture until <br />the study is complete and reviewed. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl noted that the property is sur- <br />rounded on 3 sides with commercial zoning. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that the comp <br />plans show that location as commercial and <br />he felt it should be zoned that way. <br /> <br />Councilman Fauson fel t that the ordinance <br />should be tabled until the zoning map re- <br />view is completed. <br /> <br />Mr. Beitelshees stated that he is surrounded <br />on three sides and felt that if he can not <br />get the C-C zoning, he would prefer not to <br />annex at this time. <br />
