Seconded by Councilman Domenico
Motion carried 6-0.

Mr. Wurl reported that the City received
invitations to the DRCOG award banquet
and he requested that Council let him
know who would be attending.

Mr. Wurl reported that he was not able
to meet with Mr. Suitts before the meeting
to discuss the land which he owns; however,
he did not feel that would cause any
problems and noted that either location
that was noted on the map would be accep-
table for the medical facilities.
He stated that if Council wanted to auth-
orize the Mayor to sign the agreement
there would be no problem.
Mr. Wurl stated that the hospital does
not really care which piece of land is
selected, as both have good points.

Councilman Meier asked about the statement
in the agreement where the facility would
be completed within one year after the
Centennial Valley Mall is built of 50%
of the home is the subdivision. He
noted that the City needs the facilities
now and did not agree with the statement.

Mr. Wurl stated that he did not agree
with it either, however, it was negotiated,
and they need to have it be feasible be-
fore they can construct it.

After comments Councilman Caranci moved
that the Mayor be authorized to sign the
agreement with Community Hospital and
the location be decided upon later.
Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion
carried 6-0.

Mr. Wurl reported that Mr. Hobbs, has
checked out both companies and recommended
Council approve the low bidder, C.W.
Silver & Co., in the amount of $25,630.
Councilman DelPizzo stated that he liked
the second low bidder as they seem to
guarantee their generators for a period
of time.
Councilman Caranci moved that C.W. Silver
be awarded the bid at $25,630. Motion
died due to lack of second.
