ORDINANCE NO. 671 MORRISON ANNEXATION FIRST READING ORDINANCE NO. 672 MORRISON ZONING FIRST READING RESOLUTION NO. 5 BUILDING LEASE JACK JACOBS CO. RESOLUTION NO. 7 PATZER FINAL PLAT & P.U.D. Minutes - page 5 February 5, 1980 All members of Council had before them a copy of Ordinance No. 671 for their review and files. Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 671 on first reading by title only. It was noted by staff that the request for annexation includes approximately 80 acres. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance No. 671 be ordered published and a public hearing be set for March 4, 1980. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Motion carried 5 - 1. All members of Council had before them a copy of Ordinance No. 672 for their review and files. Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 672 on first reading by title only, noting that the zoning requested at this time is agri- cultural. Councilman Meier asked if Mr. Morrison was asked about a conservation easement to assure that he would not corne back for additional rezoning requests, and recommended that this be done if not. After comments Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. 672 be ordered published and a public hearing be set for March 4, 1980. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried 5 - 1. Dir. Stahl stated that the City Council agreed that the mall contractors could use a portion of the buildinrr Hhile under construction. He alsQ~tated th;t the City is utilizing three of the buildings for park maintenance and equip. and that the two buidings being leased are not needed by the city at this time. Attorney Joss read Resolution No.5. Councilman Meier stated that he wanted the agreement to include that they pay the utilities and maintain the buildings. Councilman Meier moved that Resolution No. 5 Series 1980, be adopted. Seconded by Coun- cilman Domenico. Motion carried. Dir. Rupp noted the location east of the rail road track, north of Walnut St. with the zoning R-M. They are proposing 3 townhouses and the request has been approved by the Planning Commission. He noted that the City has a 10' easement for a future turnaround at the end of Walnut Street.
