<br />MUNICIPAL JUDGE <br />APPOINTMENT <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />POINT OF ORDER <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE CONCERNS <br /> <br />REORGANIZATION & SALARY <br />SCHEDULE <br /> <br />SOUTH BOULDER TRAFFIC <br /> <br />POLICE CHIEF POSITION <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />January 7, 1980 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak reported that there were two <br />applications for Municipal Judge, Lawrence <br />Enrietto and James Reed. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Lawrence <br />Enrietto be appointed as Municipal Judge. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked if Council comments <br />was the time to bring up questions or <br />concerns of the citizens. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that citizen items should <br />be brought up under Council comments and <br />reports. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival asked what the procedure <br />was when a concern is brought up about an <br />employee. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that he would like the <br />matter brought up with the City Administra- <br />tor. He noted that he did not want to <br />discuss any person at a public meeting until <br />the whole issue is studied. <br /> <br />Councilman Carnival requested a breakdown <br />of how many people our in each category and <br />where they stand in the pay scale. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked about the possible <br />lights on South Boulder Rd. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that the traffic counts <br />are being completed and they are starting <br />to work on their recommendations, which <br />he hoped to have by the next meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he would <br />like to see a present City policeman appointed <br />to the position of police chief if possible. <br />Councilmen DelPizzo, Domenico and Fauson <br />concurred with Councilman Caranci's statement. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak congratulated the new Council <br />and was looking forward to working with <br />them. <br />He pointed out that the meetings begin at <br />7:30. <br /> <br />He thanked the outgoing Council for their <br />cooperation and for standing behind their <br />committments. <br />
