Per City Council Meeting Minutes, this proclamation was read by Mayor Meier <br />on September 20, 1983 <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, the first week in October has been designated as <br />Minority Enterprise Week by President Ronald Reagan; and <br />WHEREAS, the minority business community of Colorado has made <br />significant contributions to the local and state's <br />economy; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of supports the efforts <br />of its minority citizens to begin and succeed in <br />business and recognizes their importance to this <br />community, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I Mayor of the <br />City and County of , <br />by virtue of the authority vested in me, <br />do hereby proclaim the first week in October as <br />MINORITY ENTERPRISE WEEK <br />and commend and congratulate the community's minority <br />business community. <br />WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the official <br />seal of the City and County of <br />to be affixed this <br />of 1 1983. <br />day <br />
