<br />November 27, 1979 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />DEPOT EXTENDED HOURS <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the appli- <br />cation is in order. <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked Chief Munger <br />if there were any problems at the Depot <br />with the previous extended hours. <br />Chief Munger responded that he did not <br />recall any.. <br /> <br />After comments Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the extended hours request for the <br />Depot be approved. Seconded by Council- <br />man DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SCHREITER REQUEST <br /> <br />Staff reported that Mrs. Schreiter had <br />withdrawn her rezoning request. <br /> <br />CITY HALL CONSTRUCTION <br />AWARD BID <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Hillhouse reported to Council <br />that they received 8 bids with the low <br />bidder being Commercial Industrial Con- <br />struction, Inc. in the amount of $819,700. <br />After negotiating with the low bidder, <br />the bid has been reduced to $755,541. <br />Council discussed the changes on the <br />specifications and the different options <br />available on the bond amount. <br /> <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci moved <br />that C.I.C.. Inc., low bidder be awarded <br />the City Hall contract in the amount of <br />$755,541, and that option #1 be approved. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier moved that the motion <br />be amended to show that in Option #1 <br />the furnishing costs be reduced from <br />$30,000 to $10,000. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DiCarlo. <br />Roll call on amendment: DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Berry no, Kilker no, <br />Caranci no., Meier yes. Tie vote. Mayor <br />Waschak voted yes to reduce the furnish- <br />ing amount to $10,000. <br /> <br />Roll call vote on Councilman Caranci's <br />motion which includes the amendment. <br />DelPizzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, <br />Berry yes, Kilker yes, Meier yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
