Cityo Loui��ville <br /> R,OCLA9iU!TION <br /> February 19, 2008 <br /> Whereas, on February 6, 2008, fourteen year old Jared Vigil, a <br /> resident of Louisville, demonstrated great bravery, quick thinking and <br /> heroism through his rescue of Connie Ostwald, a Louisville resident, <br /> from a potentially life threatening situation at the pond located in <br /> Cottonwood Park; and <br /> Whereas, Jared Vigil has been recognized for his actions by <br /> the Louisville Middle School; and <br /> Whereas, the Mayor, City Council and City Staff wish to <br /> commend Jared Vigil for the heroism he demonstrated on February 6, <br /> 2008, and for the outstanding example he has set for citizens of all <br /> ages; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, I Chuck Sisk, Mayor of the City of <br /> Louisville, on behalf of the Louisville City Council and the citizens of <br /> our community, do hereby recognize and commend Jared Vigil for his <br /> selfless act of bravery and heroism in saving the life of Connie <br /> Ostwald.
