DREVER REQUEST CONTINUED RESOLUTION NO. 17 DENNIS A. DRUMM STATE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENTS Minutes - page 5 September 18, 1979 Company can proceed with the necessary work to come up with an industrial revenue bond, and in order to do this it is mandatory on their part, for Council to pass the intent resolution, in order for them to proceed. The City bond attorney's have looked at the STC and other resolution, such as this, and have found them to be in order. Mr. Joss reviewed the resolution and also found it to be in order. Mr. Tom Drever, gave a brief explanation of their business and why they requested the approval of the resolution. Council voiced their concerns about the City being responsible for monies if the company defaulted. Attorney Joss reiterated that the City in no way would be responsible and this resolution only allows for the continuation of compiling the paper work in order to actually apply for the bonds. After comments Mr. Leon Wurl read Resol- ution NO. 18, Series 1979 in full. Councilman Kilker moved that Resolution No. 18, Series 1979, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl read Resolution No. 17, commending Dennis A. Drumm, during his employment with the City. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Resolution No. 17, Series 1979, be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that staff is requesting Council's approval to send the letter with the requested highway improvements as approved and recommended by the staff and Planning Commission. He noted that that the number one priority has been changed to the construction of a new interchange at U.S. 36 and Superior. After comments Councilman Caranci moved that a letter be submitted to Boulder County and to the State Highway Dept. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Motion carried.
