Motion
carried.

Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City
Attorney's report be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Councilman Berry.
Motion carried.

Mr. Wurl asked Council who would be interested
in attending a cable tv meeting through
DRCOG.
Mr. Wurl stated that cable tv is coming to
the Denver area and there have been some
problems with cable companies digging in
alleys and streets without the cities
or counties knowing about it and this is
how it came to DRCOG's attention.
DRCOG is trying to get all cities holding
franchises and the companies together and
get an agreement so that there will be
some control. He stated that the Louisville
franchise is being looked into and the City
will know on Friday if it is valid.
Mr. Wurl stated that the City franchise is
fairly good, because it states that the
cable tv can not dig in the City without
the City Administrator or Councils approval.

Council requested that a work session be
scheduled for September 13, 1979 at 8:00 P.M.
to discuss the plans for expansion.

Mr. Hurl revie'lived correspondence.
Councilman Berry asked if the problem up at
Scenic Heights has been resolved.
Chief Munger stated that the letter from the
property owners was distributed after the
matter had been checked into.
