<br />ORDINANCE NO. 659 <br />BUILDING CODE AMENDMENT <br />SECOND READING <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 660 <br />ADDITION TO BUILDING <br />CODE - MALLS <br />SECOND READING <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14 <br />SERIES 1979 <br />APPROVING CENTENNIAL <br />VALLEY SECOND FILING <br />FINAL PLAT AND P.U.D. <br /> <br />Minutes - page 4 <br />August 21, 1979 <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 659 on <br />second reading stating that the ordinance <br />was properly published. He stated that <br />this ordinance amends and modifies the <br />table relative to fees <br />permits. The amendment would allow con- <br />struction ~vork with the valuation up to <br />$500 to be done without a building permit <br />fee. This deals only with renovation, re- <br />modeling or repair of existing structures <br />with addi.tional requirements. <br />ATtorney Joss noted that fences are not part <br />of the structure and would still require a <br />building permi.t. <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that Ordinance No. 659 be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman Neier. Roll call vote. <br />Berry yes, Caranci yes, Heier yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, Kilker yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 660 on <br />second reading by title only. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. <br />660 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry. Attorney Joss noted that the ord- <br />inance has been reviewed by the Building <br />Inspector and legal staff. <br />Roll call on motion. DiCarlo yes, Berry <br />yes, Meier yes, Caranci yes, Kilker yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Resolution No. 14 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak reported that he would give <br />anyone wishing to speak two minutes to voice <br />their concerns. <br /> <br />Gary Brent apologized to Council stating <br />that the drawings of the center were lost <br />in freight flight, but there was a pre- <br />sentation on the landscape design. <br /> <br />Dennis Strah Landplan Design Assoc. presented <br />a preliminary landscape plan for the shopping <br />center. He stated that much detail still <br />needs to be worked out. He noted that the <br />landscaping will be through transitional zones, <br />using the natural landscape on the outer <br />area and working in to a developed landscaping. <br />
