REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL AUGUST 7, 1979 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Councilmembers present: DiCarlo, Berry, Meier, Caranci, Kilker, and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Engineer Richardson, Police Chief Munger, Director Community Development Drumm, Director Parks & Recreation Stahl, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Stahl. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes of the July 17, 1979, meeting as presented. ENCLOSURERS Councilman Caranci moved that enclosurers be accepted and brought up under the proper head of business. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. COUNCIL ITEMS PACELLO REQUEST KUYKENDALL WATER TAP REQUEST Ms. Pacello requested that Council allow for the blocking off of McKinley Sit Walnut on August 11, 1979 12:00 to 9:00 for square dancing at a wedding reception. After comments Councilman Caranci moved that the request be granted. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Councilman Berry then moved that the motion be amended to add the hours 12 noon to 9:00 P.M. and not to exceed those hours. Councilman Meier seconded the amendment motion. Council voted in favor of the amendment. The motion to allow the closing of the portion of McKinley north of Spruce was approved by Council as amended. Mr. Wurl stated that the Kuykendall's are requesting a water tap from the City. Their location is west of Con- tinental View Drive. Councilman Caranci recommended that a study be made before any more outside taps are approved. Councilman Berry recommended that the request: be denied tenatively until the study is made. It was noted by staff that a study could probably be completed in a month depend- ing upon the information requested. Mr. Wurl also noted that it is not in the City's plan to service that area. After discussion the Mayor requested that staff make the study and report back to Council.
