Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />FLATIRON PAVING CO. <br />FINAL PAYMENT IN- <br />DUSTRIAL PARK <br /> <br />Counci~nan DiCarlo moved that the <br />Flatiron Paving final payment for the <br />industrial park in the amount of <br />$7,436.85 be approved. Seconded by <br />Councilman Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CWN CONSTRUCTION CO. <br />PAY EST. 111 <br />CO}llimNITY BUILDING <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that pay est. <br />111 in the amount of $4,896.00 be <br />approved to CWN Construction for work <br />on the Connnunity Building. Seconded by <br />Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Stahl reported that the work is <br />almost complete except for some clean <br />up and putting jacks on the pads. <br /> <br />AMERICAN LEGION LIQUOR <br />LICENSE SPECIAL EVENTS <br />3.2% BEER REQUEST <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the appli- <br />cation i.s in order and the location <br />is at Garfield and So. Boulder Rd. <br />on September 2 and 3 to sell 3.2% beer. <br />Councilman Berry moved that the staff <br />be authorized to post the property <br />and a public hearing be set for <br />August 21, 1979. Seconded by Council- <br />man DiCa.rlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE CO~1MENTS <br /> <br />STAGGERED TERMS <br /> <br />Peter Ga.uss 1125 Main St. <br />Representing the Citizens Participating <br />in Louisville's Future spoke against <br />the passing of the Staggered Terms pro- <br />posal and requested that the matter be <br />put to a vote of the people. <br /> <br />Don McKee, 1045 LaFarge. <br />Mr. McKE~e as why the City would need 24,000 <br />jobs in a City of approximately 13, 600. <br />He stated that he did not want to see <br />Louisville as another Commerce City <br />where no one wants to live, and with this <br />projecti.on the City was publically <br />stating that they wanted 24,000 jobs in <br />the City. <br /> <br />PROJECTED EMPLOYMENT <br />
