<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JULY 17, 1979 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the follow- <br />ing Council members present: DiCarlo, Berry, Meier, Caranci, Kilker <br />and DelPizzo. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney <br />Joss, City Planner Drumm, City Parks & Rec. Director Stahl, City <br />Engineer Richardson, City Treasurer Hesson and City Clerk Stahl. <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Mayor 1-.Taschak and Council approved the <br />minutes of the July 3, 1979 council <br />meeting as presented. <br /> <br />ENCLOSURERS <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that enclosurers <br />be accepted and brought up under the pro- <br />per head of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Hotion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />FLATIRON PAVING CO. PAY <br />EST. #4 INDUSTRIAL PARK <br /> <br />Councilman Berry requested that recom- <br />mendations from the City Engineer be <br />included with the pay estimates as in <br />the past. <br />Councilman Berry moved that Flatiron <br />Pay Estimate, in the amount of $9,479.02 <br />be approved. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />HERMAN FAUSON ANNEXATION <br />REQUEST <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the Fauson <br />annexation request be referred to <br />Planning Commission for their review <br />and recommendation. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SPECIAL EVENTS LIQUOR LICENSE <br />LUKEMIA SOCIETY <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that the application <br />was in order and that all notice of <br />public heari.ng were properly published. <br />He noted tha.t the date is August 4, 1979 <br />for a 3.2% beer license to be sold at <br />Miner's Field during a benefit baseball <br />game, beginning at 7AM until midnight. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments for or against. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Councilman Meier moved that the special <br />event 3.2% beer license be approved for <br />the Lukemia Society, Bill Elrod, Trustee. <br />Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. <br />Motion carri,ed. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 649 <br />HIGHFILL ANNEXATION <br />SECOND READING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 649 on <br />second reading by title only. He reported <br />that the ordinance was published in its <br />entirety on June 27, 1979, and notices <br />of public hearing were published on <br />July 4, and July 11, 1979. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />
