<br />Minutes - page 6 <br />July 17, 1979 <br /> <br />FLATIRON PAVING <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked when the paving <br />should begin. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that notice to proceed <br />has been sent to Flatiron and they may <br />begin work ~7i thin ten days after notice. <br /> <br />MEMORY SQUARE SPRINKLER <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo asked about the <br />repair of sprinkler heads at Memory <br />Square Park. <br />Parks Dir. Stahl stated that they were <br />repaired Tue!sday morning. <br /> <br />Councilman Mleier asked the status on <br />the ditch that runs to Lake Park. <br />Dir. Stahl stated that all temporary <br />repairs have been done which the City <br />hopes will be permanent to the ditch. <br />There is some other work that needs to <br />be finished and also the negotiating of <br />the bill. <br /> <br />DITCH AT LAKE PARK <br /> <br />PAR COURSE <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked when the par <br />course should be done. <br />Mr. Stahl stated that the project will <br />be completed no later then the last <br />of September. <br /> <br />RURAL WATER TAPS <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci stated that he would <br />like to see all rural water tap appli- <br />cations, when they are sent in that they <br />specify what they will be used for. <br /> <br />WATER BILLS <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he has <br />received complaints about water bills <br />and would like to have a study made <br />to see if it is possible to add several <br />thousand gallons from the winter months <br />to the summer months for a higher minimum. <br />After comments Councilman DelPizzo moved <br />that a water study to readjust the water <br />gallonage minimum be made. Seconded by <br />Councilman Caranci. Roll call. DelPizzo <br />yes, Caranci no, Kilker no, DiCarlo no, <br />Meier no, Berry no. Motion defeated. <br />Councilman Meier requested that several <br />of the next vTater billing register sheets <br />be given to Council for their viewing. <br />
