WITHDRAWAL OF JOSEPH ANNEXATION REQUEST ORDINANCE NO. 651 & 652 ORDINANCE NO. 644 & 645 NELLE GREEN ANNEXATION & ZONING REQUEST:~~. PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE NO. 644 ORDINANCE NO. 645 Minutes - page 6 June 26, 1979 Mr. Roger Joseph 504 W. Spruce St. stated that he was withdrawing his . ~.__.~.__ applications for annexation and zoning. He also stated that he would like to com- pliment Council on their study of the Centennial Valley annexation and also for listening to both sides of the issue. Attorney Joss read Ordinances No. 644 and 645 on second reading by title only. He stated that the ordinances were pub- lished in their entirety on May 17, 1979, and the notice for public hearing was published on Ma.y 24, 1979 and May 31, 1979. The approximate acreage of annexation is 1.5 acres. 1~. Russ Green, representing his mother Nelle Green, stated that the first plans was to subdivide; this included the problem of access to the development. Mr. Green stated that the new request is to be annexed and build only one home for Mrs. Green's granddaughter. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Mr. Tom Zukitas asked about the problem of property access. Mr. Drumm stated that the problem will need to be resolved only at the time of subdividing. The construction of one home would not cause any problems with street access. Councilman Meier requested that a note be made in the annexation agreement that the road problem would need to be resolved before subdivision. After connnents Mayor Waschak closed the public hearing. Councilman Berry moved that Ordinance No. 644 be adopted. Seconded by Council- man Meier. Roll call. DiCarlo yes, Caranci yes, Berry yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker yes, Meier yes. Motion carried. Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance No. 645 be adopted. Seconded by Council- man Meier. Roll call. Caranci yes, Kilker yes, Berry yes, DelPizzo yes, Meier yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried.
