<br />MAYOR PROCLAMATION <br />CYSTIC FIBROSIS <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br />LINDA lnCKES <br />FENCE REQUEST <br /> <br />KIP MILLER <br />1613 SUNSET DRIVE <br />FENCE REQUEST <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />19T9.PROPOSED STREET, ALLEY <br />AND CONCRETE CALL FOR BIDS <br /> <br />ALLEY PAVING <br /> <br />STREET OVERLAY <br /> <br />May 1, 1979 <br />Minutes - page 2 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl read the proclamation pro- <br />claiming May 6, 1979 as Cystic <br />Fibrosis Bike-A-Thon Day. <br /> <br />Linda Wickes, 2098 Garfield asked <br />about the set back for a fence in her <br />front yard. <br />Mr. Wurl reported that there was con- <br />fusion in the set back distance, but <br />the correct set back is 4.5 feet. <br />Mrs. Wickes stated that the 4.5 set <br />back would not cause any problem and <br />she would be able to comply with that. <br /> <br />}~. Miller, 1613 Sunset Drive stated <br />that he would like to put up a fence <br />and set it about 2 feet inside the <br />City easement. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there was some <br />questions about the property line <br />and that the fence may be taking in <br />more of the City property. <br />Councilman Berry noted that he did <br />not like to see fences installed <br />within the City easements, should the <br />need arise the fence would have to be <br />taken down for underground work and <br />it would be at the owners expense. <br />Council recommended that the. City <br />Engineer review the matter and report <br />back for the next meeting. <br /> <br />City Engineer Joss pointed out the areas <br />that would fall under the proposed 1979 <br />Street, Alley and Concrete proj ects. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that the <br />City call for bids for alley pavine. <br />Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker moved that the City <br />call for bids on the Street Overlay <br />Project. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked about when the <br />street overlay project would be done. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that if everthing is <br />on schedule it would be in July. <br />
