MAYOR PROCLAMATION CYSTIC FIBROSIS AUDIENCE COMMENTS LINDA lnCKES FENCE REQUEST KIP MILLER 1613 SUNSET DRIVE FENCE REQUEST CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT 19T9.PROPOSED STREET, ALLEY AND CONCRETE CALL FOR BIDS ALLEY PAVING STREET OVERLAY May 1, 1979 Minutes - page 2 Mr. Wurl read the proclamation pro- claiming May 6, 1979 as Cystic Fibrosis Bike-A-Thon Day. Linda Wickes, 2098 Garfield asked about the set back for a fence in her front yard. Mr. Wurl reported that there was con- fusion in the set back distance, but the correct set back is 4.5 feet. Mrs. Wickes stated that the 4.5 set back would not cause any problem and she would be able to comply with that. }~. Miller, 1613 Sunset Drive stated that he would like to put up a fence and set it about 2 feet inside the City easement. Mr. Wurl stated that there was some questions about the property line and that the fence may be taking in more of the City property. Councilman Berry noted that he did not like to see fences installed within the City easements, should the need arise the fence would have to be taken down for underground work and it would be at the owners expense. Council recommended that the. City Engineer review the matter and report back for the next meeting. City Engineer Joss pointed out the areas that would fall under the proposed 1979 Street, Alley and Concrete proj ects. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the City call for bids for alley pavine. Seconded by Councilman Berry. Motion carried. Councilman Kilker moved that the City call for bids on the Street Overlay Project. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. Councilman Meier asked about when the street overlay project would be done. Mr. Wurl stated that if everthing is on schedule it would be in July.
