<br />ORDINANCE NO. 641 <br />FIRST READING <br />PELLIGRINI-FREY <br />ZONING <br /> <br />POLICE & FIRE DISPATCH <br />SERVICE CONTRACT <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />FISHING AT CITY RESERVOIR <br /> <br />Minutes - page 3 <br />April 17, 1979 <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them <br />a copy of Ordinance No. 641 for their <br />review and files. City Attorney Joss <br />read the ordinance No. 641 on first <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ordinance <br />No. 641 be ordered published and a pub- <br />lic hearing be set for May 15, 1979. <br />Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that he had met <br />with Broomfield to discuss the contract <br />fees for dispatching service for the <br />police department and fire department. <br />He reported that the increase in cost <br />is 590.00 which will bring the total <br />of the monthly charge to 1092.00 for <br />services. <br />Councilman Meier stated that he was not <br />happy with the drastic and requested that <br />they do it on a more gradual increase. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl commented that the rates had <br />not been increased in the last 5 years <br />and this is part of the reason for such <br />a drastic increase. <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci <br />moved that the City go ahead and contract <br />with the City of Broomfield for dis- <br />patching services at the cost of $1092.90 <br />per month. Seconded by Councilman Kilker <br />Roll call. DiCarlo yes, DelPizzo yes, <br />Kilker yes, Berry yes, Caranci yes, Meier <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />Berry. Motion carried. <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl read the pro- <br />clamation for Cancer Drive Week for <br />April 23, 1979. <br /> <br />In conjunction with the July 4, cele- <br />bration, the Parks department was re- <br />questing permission to fish at the City <br />reservoir. <br />After Council discussion Councilman <br />Caranci moved that the request for fishing <br />at the City Reservoir on July 4, be denied. <br />
