<br />Minutes - page 4 <br />April 3, 1979 <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS & COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />GAS TANKS <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked about the gas tanks <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that they have arrived <br />and need to be installed. <br /> <br />COURT REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked why failures to appear <br />have increased. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the docket has <br />increased and the City has no way of <br />knowing why someone does not appear for <br />court, stating that they mostly are con- <br />tributed to expired stickers and parking <br />tickets. <br />Staff will check into the matter. <br /> <br />GRAFFITTI <br /> <br />DOM TOMEO <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked about the graffitti <br />that was written on Lafayette. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he checked and was <br />unable to locate it, but would check again. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked staff to check <br />into Mr. Tomeo's pay as since he received <br />the injury he has not received an pay. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the City has tried <br />several times to contact him and ask him <br />to file the necessary papers which he <br />has not done. Mr. Wurl stated that he <br />would check into the matter further. <br /> <br />Councilman Berry moved that the Council <br />Comments and Committee reports be accepted <br />and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF BILLS <br /> <br />City Treasurer Hesson read the bills totalling <br />$86,387.75. Councilman Caranci moved that <br />the bills be accepted and checks issued <br />for the same. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the meeting <br />be adjourned. Seconded by Councilman <br />Meier. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned <br />at 9:00 P.M. <br />
