<br />January 16, 1979 <br />Minutes - page 3 <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE NO. 623 <br />AQUARIUS REZONING <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that all proper <br />publications of the ordinance and notice <br />of public hearing had been made. <br />Ordinance No. 623 was then read by <br />Attorney Joss on second reading by title <br />only. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reported that this is a re- <br />zoning ordinance for the parcel known as <br />the Aquarius property and the owners have <br />submitted an application asking that the <br />property be rezoned from present Agri- <br />cultural zoning to a proposed zoning of <br />R-L, Residential Low Density. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing <br />on Aquarius. <br />Staff certification: <br />Attorney Joss: Mr. Mayor, the ordinance <br />was published in its entirety in the <br />Louisville Times, and notices of the <br />this evenings public hearing were published <br />in the Louisville Times on November 30, <br />December 7, and December 14. <br /> <br />Mayor: Are there anyone in the audience <br />from the Aquarius people to make a pre- <br />sentation. <br /> <br />Mr. Ron Porter, representing the applicant, <br />William Most and the owners of the subject <br />property. My address is 1877 Broadway, <br />Boulder, Colorado. <br /> <br />The property which is subject to this zon- <br />ing request, as you perhaps already know, <br />I thought I would review this alittle bit <br />into the matter, is generally, well is <br />located immediately northwest of the <br />Louisville Cemetery, we've got this drawing <br />here as well as the one on the board there. <br />The Louisville Cemetery is the little <br />square down there to the right hand side <br />of the larger parcel indicated as an "A". <br />It is located within the City limits, it <br />was annexed in December of 1976 and in- <br />itially zoned as A-Agricultural. The re- <br />lief requested tonight, from you, is to <br />change the zoning from A-Agricultural to <br />Low Density Residential, the R-L zoning <br />district under the zoning code of the City <br />of Louisville. <br />I would like to proceed in the following <br />manner by first showing that the property <br />is presently zoned for agricultural <br />
