M~nutes - page 3 January 2, 1979 ORDINANCE NO. 626 FAIR HOUSING APPROVAL OF CITY ATTORNEY REPORT CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT REGIONAL OPPORTUNITY HOUSING PLAN RESOLUTION NO.2, SERIES 1979 OUTSIDE WATER POLICY HOUSING AUTHORITY VACANCY Attorney Joss read Ordinance No. 626 on second reading by title only. stating that all proper publications had been made. Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance No. 626 be adopted. Seconded by Coun- cilman Meier. Roll call. DelPizzo yes, Meier yes, Kilker yes, Caranci yes, Berry yes, DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City Attorney's report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Council- man Meier. Motion carried. Mr. Drumm stated that DRCOG had pre- pared and mandated that the Regional Opportunity Housing plan be adopted prior to Decenber 31, 1978. The plan was reviewed at the Boulder Long Range Planning Commission and was recommended disapproval to the County Commissioners. Mr. Drumm stated that City staff has reviewed the plan and have written a letter voicing the City's feelings and recommendations. The letter was read by Mr. Drumm and he requested Council approval before sending it. After discussion Councilman Meier moved that the staff be authorized to send the letter to DRCOG pertaining to the Regional Opportunity Housing Plan as written. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. Mr. Drumm read Resolution No.2, per- taining to an application for funds to construct 30 rent suhsidized units. Councilman Caranci moved that Resol- ution No.2, Series 1979, be adopted as amended. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion carried. Mr. Wurl stated that there have been several interested parties inquiring about connecting on to the city lines who live outside the City limits. He requested that Council aut-hQrize staff to draft an ordinance for Coun- cils consideration. Councilman Berry moved that the City advertise the LHA vacancy. Seconded
