Director. <br />Discussion was held by Council per- <br />taining to salary and basic duties <br />and beginning work day. After dis- <br />cussion Councilman Meier moved that <br />the City Administrator be authorized <br />to advertise for a full time Parks <br />and Rec Director at a starting salary <br />of $17,280, Grade 14. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call. <br />DiCarlo yes, Kilker yes, Berry yes, <br />DelPizzo yes, Caranci no, Meier yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reviewed correspondence. <br /> <br />Mr. Steve Williamson was in attendance <br />and answered questions from Council <br />pertaining to the agreement. <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that the Mayor be authorized to sign <br />the agreement. Seconded by Councilman <br />DiCarlo. Roll call. DiCarlo yes, <br />Berry yes, Meier yes, Kilker yes, <br />Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and <br />placed on file. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that at present our <br />ordinance states that people maintain <br />the water line from the main to the <br />house. Recently water line breaks <br />have been caused problems with residents. <br />He stated that before the City did not <br />have the equipment to correct the pro- <br />blem, but now with the equipment and <br />manpower he felt that the City should <br />consider being responsible for the <br />lines up to the property line or curb <br />box, whichever comes first. <br />After discussion Councilman Berry moved <br />that the Attorney be instructed to pre- <br />pare an ordinance amending the code <br />whereby the City would accept repairing <br />the feeder lines up to the curb box <br />
