RECOGNITION OF SERVICE <br />WHEREAS, volunteerism has always been an essential part of the spirit and traditions of this Country; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Russell Van Nostrand served the City of Louisville as a member of the Planning <br />Commission from January, 1992, to February, 1999 and, <br />WHEREAS, the services of Russell Van Nostrand were unselfish and unstinting; and, <br />WHEREAS, such services have resulted in the orderly growth and continued prosperity of the City of <br />Louisville and have materially contributed to accomplishing the goals of the City of <br />Louisville; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Tom Davidson, Mayor of the City of Louisville, <br />Colorado, do hereby commend the volunteer services of Russell Van Nostrand and declare that Russell <br />Van Nostrand be made a Distinguished Citizen of the City of Louisville now and forever more. <br />DATED this 16th day of March, 1999 <br />Tom Davidson, Davidson, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Dave Clabots, City Clerk <br />
