�v►uisuille, (�nlnrtt�n <br />Vrorlamatt"On <br />SEPTEMBER 1995 <br />LITERACYMONTH <br />WHEREAS, the problems created by ILL/TER4C}' affect all residents through lower <br />productivity mid higher social casts, and <br />WHEREAS, Project Learn, Emily Griffith Opportunity school, The Ltdian Center, the Adult <br />Learning Source and others help Metro Area residents become informed <br />participants in the democratic process; and <br />WHEREAS, the tireless efforts of many local groups have actively contributed to the success <br />of Literacy Programs through volunteering; and <br />WHEREAS, volunteers nt all areas have enabled many residents to reach their goals by <br />providing free classes mid tutoring in GED, LITERACY and ENGLISH as a <br />Second Lmnguage; and <br />s <br />{ WHEREAS, contmtit nity programs throughout our Natton are observing SEPTEMBER as <br />NATIONAL LITER9CYMONTH, <br />NOW THEREFORE, of behalf of the cittzens of Loinsville.
