�ilu <br />Per City Council Meeting <br />Minutes, this proclamation <br />was read during the July E�pppp <br />20, 1993 Council meeting. //ice o f t ie Mayor � <br />+rnuisuiUr, 01.11.01orabo <br />,prucCamation <br />1"3 YOUTH ARTS MONTH <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville has an outstanding Arts and Humanities <br />Council (LAHC) dedicated to the continuance of the arts; and <br />WHEREAS, the LAHC has invested in improving the quality of life through <br />offering arts and cultural opportunities, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville supports and acknowledges the role of arts <br />and humanities in this community, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City of Louisville, by Ordinance No. 1109, Series 1993, <br />designated the historical site at 801 Grant Avenue as the <br />Louisville Center for the Arts, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Youth Arts Month programs will provide a cooperative <br />atmosphere between the citizens of Louisville and the LAHC, and; <br />WHEREAS, the 1993 Youth Arts Month program provides an unique <br />opportunity for the children of the City of Louisville to participate <br />in the performing arts, <br />NOW THEREFORE, I, Tom Davidson, Mayor of the City of Louisville, do declare <br />August as Youth Arts Month in Louisville and encourage all <br />families to take advantage of the performing arts programs offered <br />through the Youth Arts Month Program. <br />Jn cvitneis wketeof _q navr fuTeunto set my <br />fianal and caused 4is stal to 9z a f fixed, <br />ATTEST: <br />I DATE: <br />
