TO: RAB
From: David Baril
RE: 2023-34 season pass rates & benefits
DATE: October 16, 2022
The evaluation of all fees always contains multiple elements that includes the strategic plan for the golf
course, demand, usage, market, and the golf course's designation as an enterprise fund. A directive for
the upcoming 2-year budget was a 5% increase in rates and fees for 2023.
The attached information is derived from a calendar year of October through September. This period is
predicated on two factors: 1) supplying this board information in a timely basis; 2) preparing for our
annual pre -season early sale of the next season passes that start April 1, 2023 that extend to March 31,
2024.
Analysis of the customer type relative to usage and profitability
• 17% of our revenues are produced by one of 5 season pass types.
• Our 5 season pass types produce 24% of our rounds
• Daily fee players produce 83% of our revenues on 76% of our rounds
• 38% of our season passes are sold to Louisville residents
• 42% of Imperial pass holders are Imperial / Card
• 44% of Regal pass holders are Regal / Card
• 39% increase in season pass rounds from 2020-21 to 2021-2022
• The number of season passes sold has increased by 10% predominantly in Imperial and Regal
passes.
