Approval of Agenda — Agenda was approved. <br />III. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda - none <br />IV. Meet and Greet- Introductions <br />• Members shared names, pronouns, school, and favorite holiday. <br />V. What is the YAB- What can you expect in the upcoming year? <br />• Mandy and Jessica explained how YAB works, when we meet, and <br />shared a volunteer log for members to use to keep track of <br />volunteer hours. <br />• This year we will have a volunteer event every other month. <br />i. December — Whotastic Holiday Party (Rec Center) <br />ii. February — Sweetheart Dance (Rec Center) <br />iii. April — Senior Prom (Senior Center) <br />VI. Expectations of Board Members and Professional Conduct <br />• Meeting rules — Jessica explained behavioral expectations for <br />meetings, including raising hands, being respectful, remembering <br />that you are representing the City, etc. <br />VII. Discuss Chair, Vice -Chair and Secretary Officer positions <br />• Mandy explained the expectations for each role. Members who are <br />interested in running should prepare a short speech for the <br />November meeting. <br />VIII. Attendance Policy/Photo Release /Transportation Release <br />• Please come to as many meetings and events as possible.
