Ellen Toon called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call: <br />A. PPLAB members present Ellen Toon, Shelly Alm, Laurie Harford, Shannon Mihaly, <br />Patricia Rogers, John Webb. <br />B. Superintendent of Parks, Abby McNeal <br />C. Guests Anne Gundrum, Logan Uhlenhake, Owen Bramlage, Josh Cooperman <br />3. Approval of Agenda: Shelly Motioned to Approve, John Seconded, Agenda Approved <br />4. Approval of Minutes: Laurie Motioned to Approve, Ellen Seconded. Minutes approved with the <br />following correction identified by Shelly: <br />A. Subdivision Entry Program: Default ownership going to property owner rather than city <br />may not be accurate; it is not clear where ownership goes. Certain parties may take over <br />maintenance, but it may not be default ownership. Additional study, surveys, etc. are <br />needed. <br />i. Money set aside for the project may have been significant and it is not clear <br />where funds were allocated. <br />ii. HOA interests that were damaged by fire may not be a priority, depending on <br />FEMA funds, etc. <br />5. Staff Updates <br />A. Abby presented introductory remarks and discussion item: <br />i. Abby has outside conflicts with the first and third Thursdays of the month and <br />presented other calendar options beginning in January 2023: 1" Wednesday of <br />the month or 2nd Thursday of the month. This will be added to the agenda for <br />November. Abby will not make the December meeting, but a Parks liaison will <br />attend in her place. <br />B. Red Tail Ridge update: Project was not approved, next timeline is in early 2023. <br />C. OSAB Wayfinding project for Powerline Trail was condensed to $30,000. <br />D. Abby is working on the Subdivision Entry Program and a package of options. <br />E. Recreation Advisory Board would like two members of PPLAB to join with them to form <br />a subcommittee to discuss proposed joint projects (programming in parks, assess usage <br />of amenities, etc.) <br />3 <br />
