RESOLUTION NO. 52 <br />SERIES 2022 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION GRANT <br />FOR THE LECOMTE-HICKS HOUSE AT 612 JEFFERSON AVENUE <br />WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the Louisville Historic Preservation <br />Commission (HPC) an application requesting a preservation and restoration grant for the <br />historical residential property located at 612 Jefferson Avenue, on property legally <br />described as Lots 14-15, Block 7, Jefferson Place, City of Louisville, State of Colorado; <br />WHEREAS, City staff and the HPC have reviewed the application and found it to <br />be in compliance with Chapter 15.36.120 of the Louisville Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the HPC held a properly noticed public hearing on the proposed grant <br />application and has forwarded to the City Council a recommendation of approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has duly considered the proposed grant application <br />and the Commission's recommendation and report, and has held a properly noticed public <br />hearing on the application; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed improvements will assist in <br />the preservation of the LeComte-Hicks House, a local historic landmark. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />Section 1. The City Council hereby approves the Preservation and Restoration <br />Grant for work at the LeComte-Hicks House, subject to the following: <br />1. Approved preservation items are those in the proposed scope of work to City <br />Council totaling $100,875. <br />2.
