Laura did not run for reelection but may apply to be appointed to the Superior <br />Town Board. The Superior town manager is proposing a period in which community members <br />could submit a letter or application and then the newly elected board can appoint from the <br />applications received. This will change the Library Board representative for Superior.. <br />Question if we are we moving forward with more lockers for Superior community center. Sharon <br />said we are not yet and there have not been any issues with book theft with books out in the <br />open. <br />Louisville Public Library Foundation <br />Sharon asked for $67,415 for next year. They will consider the request at the next meeting. <br />Directors report <br />FLC Marmot transition is going well. When we start 2023 we'll begin the strategic planning <br />process. It will include a revision to the mission statement and strategies. We will dedicate an <br />hour of our meetings in March, May and June to strategic planning and will have a product to <br />present in September at the joint board and foundation meeting <br />The library received between $10,000 and $20,000 for youth programs from the sale of the <br />Broncos stadium.
