in the City shall be assigned by the City building inspection <br />,building permits are issued, or upon demand. <br />Roadways running east and west are x==4= (streets). <br />Roadways running north and South are a` '-(avenues). <br />Roadways that both originate and terminate on a ct=t (avenue) are <br />ways if less than 1000 feet in length,. or drives if over 1000 feet in length. <br />Roadways with a dead end or a cul-de-sac are courts ifless. than 1000 <br />feet in length, or lanes if over 1000 feet in length. <br />Curving roadways returning to their origin are circles. <br />Other roadway designations shall be approved by the City Manager. <br />Interrupted roadways that are in alignment with streets, in <br />of the City shall have the same name. <br />: Roadway names shall not be duplicated in the City. <br />Roadway signs shall be readable from each <br />other, parts <br />direction of travel. <br />Temporary signs are required during construction periods. <br />Guide for House Numbering <br />Front footage along a street is given a number, rather than a particular <br />structure., Since there is no way of knowing how many structures will <br />eventually be built on land. now vacant, numbers should be spaced from. <br />0-99 on each major block so that the 20 will be' in the middle of the: • , <br />r <br />;Odd numbers shall be on the north and west sides of roadways, with even <br />numbers on the south and east sides. <br />Numbers should not be duplicated for five blocks.;.
