<br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> <br />GAS TANK REPORT <br /> <br />COMPUTER PURCHASE <br /> <br />CITY HALL REMODEL <br /> <br />STORM SEWER PROJECT <br /> <br />FEDCO PAY ESTIMATE <br /> <br />Minutes - page 6 <br />September 20, 1978 <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that there are different <br />types of tanks that are of different cost <br />and he is working on that for a comparible <br />price. <br />He stated that he hopes to have a report <br />completed by the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl requested that Council approve <br />the contract for an NCR computer, purchasing <br />the software and leasing the hardware for <br />one year with the option to buy after that <br />time. <br />He stated that estimates were solicited <br />from IBM, Sperry Univac, Burroughs and <br />NCR, with NCR being the most desired. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the City <br />Administrator proceed to buy the NCR 1830 <br />software and arrange a one year lease <br />purchase program. Seconded by Councilman <br />DelPizzo. Roll call. Caranci yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Meier yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that he met with Mr. Cobern <br />and the plans are still being worked out. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported that on the matter of <br />acquiring an easement on the west side of <br />the railroad tracks between Front St. and <br />So. 96th, . the estimated value was $15,040 <br />and requested councils approval to pur- <br />chase the land. <br />After discussion Councilman Caranci moved <br />that the City Administrator be authorized <br />to buy land for the storm sewer project. <br />Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that FED CO has submitted <br />a bill for $4,050.00 for work already done <br />on the solar heating. <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that FEDCO be <br />paid $4,050 for work done. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br />
