<br />August 15, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 2 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25 <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked when they in- <br />tended to finish phase 3. <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that as long as <br />phases 1 and 2 are completed, they will <br />have to go before Planning Commission be- <br />fore it can be taken care of. <br />After comments a question was called for <br />all in favor, motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26 <br />TRACK INN SPECIAL USE <br />REVIEW <br /> <br />City Administrator Wurl stated that the <br />recommendation from the Planning Comm- <br />ission was for denial of the request; <br />however, the Track Inn owners have sub- <br />mitted an amended application which should <br />be commented upon. <br /> <br />Mr. Drumm stated that the owners have in- <br />cluded a Vision Clearance Triangle, changed <br />the height of the fence on the south side <br />will be 8 feet and the remaining sides <br />6 feet. Also, trees will be planted out- <br />side of the fencing. Hours of the opera- <br />tion will be limited to 10:00 M~ to 10 PM. <br />Also they would be willing to landscape <br />the corner of Pine and Front Streets. <br />Off street parking has been provided for. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo stated that is was his <br />understanding that the Resolution containing <br />the Planning Commissions recommendation <br />must be acted upon first and then if Council <br />wishes to bring the matter up again they <br />can. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss read Resolution No. 26, <br />stating that the Resolution was denying <br />the Track Inn request as recommended by <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />It was reported that a letter opposing <br />the request was received by Virginia Carnival <br />and Rose Garcia along with a petition of <br />19 signatures, 10 in the immediate area of <br />the Track Inn and 9 from Louisville resi- <br />dents. <br />After comments Councilman Caranci moved that <br />Resolution No. 26 disapproving the Special <br />Use Review for the Track Inn be adopted and <br />all amendments that the owner may have <br />should be brought up with the Planning <br />Commission. Seconded by Councilman Meier. <br />Roll call vote. DelPizzo no, Kilker yes, <br />Caranci yes, DiCarlo yes, Meier yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
