<br />ORDINANCE #602 <br />MAJOR STREET FEES <br />FIRST READING <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />REPORT <br />LHA VACANCY <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN DI LORENZO <br />CONDITION <br /> <br />July 18, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 4 <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them a copy <br />of Ordinance #602 for their review and files. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #602 <br />be ordered published in the Boulder Camera. <br />Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br /> <br />Percy Conarroe, publisher of the Louisville <br />Times stated that in doing so, the publi- <br />cation would not be valid as it needs to be <br />published in a paper published in the City. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that he thought that <br />was correct, but would need to check into <br />it. After comments the second was withdrawn <br />and Councilman DiCarlo withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo then moved to table <br />ordinance #602 until publishing is clarified. <br />Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Roll call <br />Kilker yes, DiCarlo yes, Caranci no, Meier <br />no, DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo requested that City <br />Attorney Joss check into the publishing <br />question and report at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Attorney's report be accepted and placed on <br />file. Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl stated that there was a vacancy on <br />the Board and asked for permission to ad- <br />vertise. Councilman Caranci moved that the <br />LHA vacancy be published. Seconded by <br />Councilman Meier. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Wurl reported to Council that Council- <br />man DiLorenzo is doing better and is now <br />permitted to have visitors. <br /> <br />Councilman Meier asked for a clarification <br />on the Parks & Rec minutes pertaining to the <br />dissolving of the board. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the chairman of the board <br />had stated to him that he felt it was time <br />for the City to take over the functions. <br />He suggested that the matter be discussed <br />at the work session. <br />
