Rescheduled Meeting Louisville City Council PAGE 2 June 27, 1978 STREET OVERLAY - BID TABULATION Councilman Meier inquired if Administrator Wurl hasd seen previous work done by Siegrist Construction. Administrator Wurl advised Councilman Meier that Siegrist have been in the highway construction business for many years and are a well established and reputable company. Councilman Kilker inquired if there was any conflict between Flatiron Paving and Siegrist. No one knew of any conflict. Council- man DiLorenzo moved that Siegrist Construction be awarded the contract for the 1978 Street Overlay project, in the amount of $38,811. Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Roll call vote - DelPizzo yes, DiLorenzo yes, Meier yes, Caranci yes, Kilker yes. Motion carried. VILLAGE SQUARE SHOPPING CNETER FINAL PLAT AND PUD APPROVAL Administrator Wurl introduced Mr. Elmer Brune and Mr. Aspinwall, representatives of Safeway Stores, Inc. (Keith Bell, Engineer for Safeway Stores, Ind.) He stated the reason for the delay of approval by the Planning Commission and the appearance of the plan on tonight's agenda was due to the fact the plans had to go to Oakland, California for execution by executives of Safeway Stores. The original wording on the dedication was not quite satisfactory with them, consequently the plans went back and forth between Colorado and California twice. He then read the correct wording of the dedication,Do hereby dedicate those portions of said real property which are indicated as easements for the purpose shown hereon. The owners further accept the responsibility for installation of sewer mains, water mains and drainage facilities to serve the described areas in accordance with City regulations. The principle difference in the statement was only the plat itself a note was added which says "utility easements may be used for installation of water mains, sewer mains, power lines, buried cable, telephone lines. Mr. Bell then stated there was no real difference with the exception of the language being a little more specific. Since there was no discussion by Council - Administrator Wurl read Resolution #21, Series 1978, Approving the Lousiville North 7th Filing Village Square Shopping Center - Final Plat and Final Planned Unit Develop- ment Plan in entirety. Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution #21, Series 1978 be adopted, Seconded by Councilman DelPizzo. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried.
