<br />Minutes - page 2 <br />May 2, 1978 <br /> <br />SMAll CITIES PROGRAM <br />CONTINUED <br /> <br />making $125,000 to Rehab, $160,000 to Storm <br />Sewer Program and $15,000 to Administration. <br /> <br />Roll call vote was taken: DelPizzo yes, <br />DiCarlo no, Caranci yes, Kilker yes, Meier <br />yes, Dilorenzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />KEN FERRERA <br />FENCE REQUEST <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo moved that Ken Ferrera <br />be allowed to remove the chaing link fence <br />and install the wooden fence they desire <br />with the understanding that when it comes <br />within 71 of the sidewalk, which is city <br />Right-of-way, if and when the City desires <br />that they need that portion of the ground <br />that the fence in that area will be removed. <br />Also that it will be reduced in height from <br />about 61 to 3f as it nears the sidewalk. <br />Seconded by Councilman Meier. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Waschak stated that the City will give <br />a letter to Mr. Ferrera stating that any <br />time the City needs the property, the fence <br />will be removed on the City portion. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #585 <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss noted that the ordinance was <br />published properly. He then read the <br />ordinance on second reading by title only. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comment for or against the <br />ordinance. <br />Mr. Drumm reviewed the ordinance and the <br />changes. <br />After discussion Councilman DiCarlo moved <br />that Ordinance #585 be adopted as revised. <br />Seconded by Councilman Kilker. Roll call <br />on motion. Kilker yes, Caranci yes, Meier <br />yes, DelPizzo yes, Dilorenzo yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #586 <br />ZONING MAP CHANGES <br />SECOND READING <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the ordinance <br />and notice of public hearing have been <br />properly published. <br />He then read the ordinance on second read- <br />ing by title only. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that it was his <br />understanding that the area north of <br />Lafayette St on the east side of Main Street <br />was going to be rezoned. <br />Mr. Drumm stated that that area was not in <br />the ordinance, but included in the proposal <br />sent to Planning Commission to consider at <br />a public hearing and they did not recommend <br />rezoning of that area. <br />
