<br />ORDINANCE #580 <br />CONTRACTOR LICENSES <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 116 <br />FARMERS HOME ADMIN. GRANT <br /> <br />FmHA WATER SYSTEM GRANT <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #581 1ST READING <br />LEASE PURCHASE <br />DUMP TRUCK & TWO PICK UPS <br /> <br />February 9, 1978 <br />Minutes - page 8 <br /> <br />Attorney Joss reviewed the ordinance <br />and outlined the changes. All members <br />of council had before them a copy of <br />the ordinance for their review and files. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on <br />first reading by title only. Councilman <br />DiCarlo moved that Ordinance #580 be <br />ordered published. Seconded by Coun- <br />cilman DiLorenzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that this Resol- <br />ution deals with the Farmers Home Admin. <br />Grant, basically deals with the indebt- <br />edness of the City for the water utility <br />facilities. Attorney Joss read the <br />Resolution by title only. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that Resolution <br />#6, Series 1978, be adopted. Seconded <br />by Councilman DiLorenzo. Roll call. <br />DelPizzo no, Caranci yes, Meier yes, <br />DiCarlo yes, Kilker yes, DiLorenzo yes. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that the agreement <br />is between the City of Louisville and <br />the United States Government acting <br />through FmHA. He stated that this is <br />an agreement to follow through the <br />project and meet their specifications. <br /> <br />Councilman Kilker moved that the Mayor <br />be authorized to sign the agreement. <br />Seconded by Councilman Caranci. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that he felt <br />there must be another way to go instead <br />of putting the City in debt for 1 million <br />dollars. After comments roll call was <br />taken. DelPizzo no, Kilker yes, Meier <br />yes, DiLorenzo yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />All members of Council had before them <br />a copy of the Ordinance for their re- <br />view and files. <br />Attorney Joss read the ordinance on first <br />reading by title only. <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if it would be <br />possible to purchase one of the trucks <br />with a dump box.. <br />Mr. Wurl stated that the bids have all <br />been approved and the best thing that <br />could be done would be to use one of <br />the old trucks and fix it up with a <br />dump box. After discussion Councilman <br />Caranci moved that Ordinance #581 be <br />
