He stated that in the future all <br />changes be brought to Council. <br />Councilman DelPizzo stated that when the <br />contract was let out the thought was that <br />the job would be done according to specs. <br />He stated that all changes should have gone <br />through the City and the contract should <br />be followed. <br />After comments and discussion Mayor Waschak <br />called for a roll call vote to approve <br />pay estiarnte #5. DiCarlo yes, DiLorenzo <br />yes, Meier yes, Kilker yes, Caranci yes, <br />DelPizzo yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />SEWER PLANT VISIT <br /> <br />Sewer plant visitation is scheduled for <br />January 21, 1978 at 10:00 A.M. <br /> <br />1978 CD BLOCK GRANT <br />APPLICATION APPROVAL <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo asked if the money can <br />be used for something different then <br />stated. <br />Mr. Chenoweth stated that it can; however <br />you must go through the entire procedure <br />of public hearings to make the change. <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the 1978 <br />CD block grant application be approved. <br />Seconded by Coucnilman DiCarlo. <br />Roll call. Meier yes, Caranci yes, DiCarlo <br />yes, DiLorenzo yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker <br />yes. Motion carried. <br /> <br />AUDIENCE COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY REPORT <br />ORDINANCE #573 & #574 <br />CONTINENTAL VIEW <br />ESTATES ANNEXATION <br /> <br />Attorney Joss stated that both ordinances <br />deal with the Continental View Annexation <br />and it would be alright for one public <br />hearing to be held for the two ordinances. <br />It was noted that all proper notices had <br />been made. He then read Ordinance #573 <br />and #574 on second reading by title only. <br />Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. <br />There were no comments for the annexation. <br />Against: Ms. Jane Bostwick, 1045 Main St., <br />Louisville, spoke against the annexation <br />She requested that the annexation be delayed <br />until the City can see the impact of the <br />new Louisville West development, also the <br />impact and possible overcrowding in schools. <br />She stated that the annexation would block <br />the view of the mountains also the necessity <br />of more policemen and firemen, equipment <br />expenses, etc. <br />
