<br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />JANUARY 3, 1978 <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following <br />Council members present: Domenico, DelPizzo, Caranci, Dhieux, DiCarlo, <br />DiLorenzo. Others Present: City Attorney Joss, City Planner Drumm, <br />City Treasurer Hesson, City Clerk Stahl. <br />Absent: City Administrator Wurl. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes <br />of the December 20, 1977, Council meeting as <br />presented. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> <br />Councilman Caranci moved that the correspon- <br />dence be accepted and brought up under the <br />proper heading of business. Seconded by <br />Councilman DelPizzo. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Waschak reported that there would be no <br />public hearin~due to an oversight that pre- <br />vented publication in the proper amount of <br />time. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ITEMS <br />SENOR TIS <br />LIQUOR LICENSE <br />~RANSFER OF LOCATION <br /> <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that Council set <br />public hearing to review Senor TIs liquor <br />license transfer for January 17, 1978. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilwoman DiLorenzo. <br />Roll Call. Dhieux yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo <br />yes, DiLorenzo yes, DiCarlo yes, Domenico yes,. <br />The motion carried. <br /> <br />CITY ADMINISTRATORS <br />REPORT - CORRESPONDENCE <br /> <br />City Attorney reviewed correspondence. <br />Councilman DiCarlo moved that the City <br />Administrators report be accepted and placed <br />on file. Seconded by Councilwoman DiLorenzo. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br />COMMITTEE REPORT <br /> <br />Councilman Domenico asked if the City employees <br />were going to be given Friday, January 6th, a <br />holiday, such as was declared by Governor Lamrn <br />and Denver Mayor McNichols for State employees <br />and Denver City employees. <br /> <br />There was considerable discussion relative to <br />this matter. <br /> <br />Councilman DelPizzo felt that the local City <br />employees get enough holidays and questioned <br />the advisability of granting another one. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the Council that the <br />Mayor would decide whether the City employees <br />would be given Friday, January 6th, as a <br />holiday in honor of the Denver Broncos. <br /> <br />It was Mayor Waschakls decision to further <br />research the matter prior to ~ssuing a <br />Proclamation. <br />
