RESOLUTION NO. 9 <br />SERIES 2023 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE OPEN SPACE ADVISORY BOARD'S <br />RECOMMENDATION TO BOULDER COUNTY PARKS AND OPEN SPACE <br />REGARDING 2022 PROPERTY AND TRAIL REQUESTS <br />WHEREAS, Boulder County Parks and Open Space has invited the City of <br />Louisville Open Space Advisory Board ("OSAB") and the Louisville City Council to <br />submit requests for potential partnership opportunities regarding open space <br />preservation and trail projects; and <br />WHEREAS, on February 8, 2023, OSAB made recommendations regarding the <br />2022 open space property and trail requests; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed OSAB's recommendations, and by this <br />resolution desires to adopt such recommendations as recommendations of the Council, <br />and to authorize transmittal of the recommendations to the Boulder County Parks and <br />Open Space Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br />1. The City Council hereby adopts the recommendations of the City of Louisville <br />Open Space Advisory Board. <br />2. The City Council authorizes transmittal of the recommendations to Boulder <br />County Parks and Open Space. <br />3. In forwarding these recommendations, City Council affirms its intent that open <br />space acquisitions be conditioned upon a mutually acceptable purchase <br />agreement between willing buyers and willing sellers, and that the City <br />Council does not intend that any acquisition be made through eminent <br />domain. <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of "ee ruary, 2023. <br />oriey, Mayor <br />Resolution No, 9, Series 2023 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
