Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />November 10, 2022 <br />Page 2 of 13 <br />Brauneis is excited about dark sky lighting and seeing that in the work plan. <br />Election of Planning Commission Secretary <br />Howe nominates Commissioner Moline for the position. Hoefner seconds that <br />nomination. Motion passes by a roll call vote. <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda <br />None is heard. <br />Public Hearing Items <br />A. Adoption of Resolution 13, Series 2022 recommending denial of the <br />Redtail Ridge Preliminary and Final Plat: Redtail Ridge Filing No. 1 <br />Preliminary and Final Subdivision Plat for a 389.10-acre property, located <br />northwest of US 36 and Northwest Parkway and Southeast of S 88th <br />Street and Campus Drive. Continued from October 13, 2022 <br />Applicant: Sterling Bay <br />Case Planner: Rob Zuccaro, Dir. of Community Development <br />Hoefner recuses himself from discussion since he has a conflict of interest. <br />Discussion by Commissioners: <br />Howe mentions that he was not present at the last meeting but watched the <br />entire recording. He thought it was a good discussion and the motion of denial is <br />in alignment with his vote. <br />Howe moves and Osterman seconds a motion to approve the denial of <br />Resolution 13, Series 2022 as drafted by staff. In this case, because we know that there is <br />one person who is not here, we can save the discussion, and when we have a <br />future full commission, we can have the vote again. <br />Zuccaro says they can continue this to December 8t" and the commission will <br />hopefully have five members. If that does not happen, you may want to schedule <br />a special meeting so that this can be concluded. The commission does have to <br />continue to a date certain. <br />Brauneis says lets focus on December 8t" date. <br />9 <br />
