Revitalization Commission <br />Agenda <br />January 11, 2023 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br />None <br />Reports of Commission: <br />Staff updates <br />EV Manager position has been reposted and is currently accepting applications. <br />LRC Vacancy was posted yesterday and will remain open for a couple of weeks. One <br />application has been received. <br />BAP request from Creative Framing for 1075 S. Boulder Road in Christopher Village. <br />Staff will use outcomes of the work planning session to guide future LRC agenda items. <br />Commissioner Comments on Items not on the Agenda: <br />Councilmember Leh introduced Deb Fahey as the new Mayor Pro Tem. <br />Councilmember Leh reminded the LRC that the Council Work Plan meeting is January 17t" <br />and encouraged commissioners to attend if they are able. The meeting will be hybrid. <br />Council is accepting applications for a new Ward 3 Councilmember through Friday, January <br />13t", to fill the vacancy created by Dennis Maloney becoming the new Mayor. Interviews will <br />be held on January 31St and Council will seat the new Ward 3 councilmember quickly. <br />Business Matters of Commission: <br />Discussion - Draft Amendment Language for Pre -Approved Spending Authority <br />Staff presented proposed amendment language to the LRC. The City Attorney described <br />the reasoning for the amendment language provided. LRC discussed next steps with the <br />amendment language proposed. <br />Public Comment: <br />Rick Kron, President of the Downtown Business Association commented on subsection D <br />and suggested expanding LRC authority to add "or any contract within the LRC budget or <br />anything under $100k." <br />LRC, the City Attorney and the City Manager discussed <br />decided to keep the language as proposed at this time. <br />amendment for City Council approval. <br />Commissioner Tofte departed at 8:30am. <br />Mr. Kron's recommendation and <br />LRC asked Staff to prepare the <br />Agenda Packet P. 6 <br />
